Psychoceramics
Every so often, as faculty in my department, I get unsolicited submissions from crackpots. Just tonight I got a real doozy, from a guy who’s sent me stuff before. I’m going to just post screen capture of the email because I don’t want to even try to replicate this formatting.
John Baez has a Crackpot Index for physics, but I don’t know of a good checklist for mathematics. I’ll just leave this to my intrepid readers to find the flaws.

I hate to say it, but it looks a lot like stuff I judged at the New York City science fair on Wednesday. Nice to see that mathematics is doomed the world o’er. However, I calculate that the United States can take the lead in abstract finger painting within three years!
No that proof is totally solid. I’d consider it authoritative on whatever question it was trying to answer.
So the answer is 42, and now we need the question?
