Lawyers have “blawgs”. Given the recent upsurge in the number of mathematicians blogging should we have a new term for us? I suggest “blath”, and the term for our activity would be “blathering”.

I’m in the process of tweaking some aspects of the site to make it easier to refer back to older topics, so try to make the best of it for now.

Shouldn’t they be spelled “blns” (but still pronounced “blogs”, or maybe “natural blogs”)?
Someone on Wikipedia thought that it was worth writing an article about blaths.
And just when I was being assured the idea had died on the vine. Thanks, mysterious stranger.
