At last
So I’m up until 4:30 scrawling something out. What’s the only thing that wouldn’t annoy me to no end waking me up at 9:00?
Tulane University.
Finally.

About this weblog
This is mainly an expository blath, with occasional high-level excursions, humorous observations, rants, and musings. The main-line exposition should be accessible to the “Generally Interested Lay Audience”, as long as you trace the links back towards the basics. Check the sidebar for specific topics (under “Categories”).
I’m in the process of tweaking some aspects of the site to make it easier to refer back to older topics, so try to make the best of it for now.

The Unapologetic MathematicianTheme: Andreas04 by Andreas Viklund. Blog at WordPress.com.

hope you were nice to them. interview or an offer?
Congratulations.
Congragulations and best of luck.
E, it’s an offer. Now we just have to do all the paperwork and get ready to do the whole thing over again for when the job runs out.
Congrats. From the “whole thing all over again” I’m guessing it’s a post doc. Well, you have couple of years before the whole thing all over again. And get ready, it’ll be even worse
Visiting professor. One year, maybe two.
And a lot of the places I applied now were tenure-track, so I’m already in that line.
YAY!!!
Keep publishing, keep broadening your line of research, keep going to conferences, keep getting to know people, keep explaining cool stuff on your blog… things will get easier.
