I’ve mentioned before that I’m enjoying what there is of The Big Bang Theory. Yeah, it’s more Chuck Lorre so if you didn’t like Dharma & Greg you’re probably not going to like this. But the physics is at least moderately accurate, if awkward. Look at it this way: it makes us real geeks seem to blend in.
But I’m saddened by the fact that the WGA strike has run the show into the ground, and this last week it went into reruns already. I cross my fingers and hope that it pulls up once the strike breaks, but it may not go my way.
So to stand vigil for the show, its cast led by Johnny Galecki, and all the guest stars who can’t get work since he knew them on Roseanne, I present the theme song from The Big Bang Theory: a great power-pop number by the inimitable Barenaked Ladies.
