New Paper
The draft of my paper “Categorifying Coloring Numbers” is up on the arXiv! Go, download it! Paper the walls of urban buildings like it’s a rock band’s poster!
Or you could just read it, especially if you’re going to be at the University of Pennsylvania on March 19th or the University of California at Riverside on April 2nd.

You couldn’t have picked a less awkward word than “categorifying”? I can’t quite get my tongue around it.
I’ll go read it as soon as I finish my next section of thesis!
Actually, I tried using that word for something else before I found out it already meant this.
We seem to be chasing around the states more or less in the same directions, but with slight misses in geographical and temporal precision…..
I’ll be at UPenn a week later. And I’ll be – not at Riverside, but touring the Bay Area universities March 31 – April 10.
So it goes. If you think of yourself as a “topologist”, then there’s probably still time to come to Switzerland in May…
I would have wanted to, and I do, to a certain extent.
But I’m stretching both my travel funds and my days-off-during-teaching to a point where even I’m scared of the creaking right now. There’s not much that’s going to be added to my travel plans the next half year unless someone volunteers to pay for it. Alas.
