I spent much of the weekend crafting what may be the last final exam I ever write, and I’m spending most of today watching the entirety of HBO’s John Adams miniseries.
Unfortunately, nothing in my library comes to mind that reaches so far back in history, but more I do have a little ditty about someone a little after the series’ end. From the B-side of their 1990 single Istanbul (and then mangled for rerelease on their 1996 album Factory Showroom), They Might Be Giants’ “James K. Polk”.
